Estudio Galera Arquitectura (Pinamar, Argentina). Founded in 2007, its work is primarily located along the Buenos Aires Atlantic coast, developing single-family homes, designing multi-family complexes, and urban-scale interventions. The studio’s practice focuses on interpreting the natural dune landscape and the tectonics of concrete, though several projects have been developed in diverse contexts using other materials—always noble and low-maintenance.
The studio has received the Professional Activity Recognition from the British magazine Wallpaper*, which selected it as one of 20 emerging practices worldwide in 2015; it was awarded the Young Argentine Generation Prize at the Buenos Aires International Architecture Biennial in 2019; and has earned multiple distinctions from the Buenos Aires Province Architects Association (CAPBA), including First and Second Prize for built work in 2022 for Casa Jaima and Casa Pingüino.
In 2025, EG was selected as a guest lecturer to present and publish its work at the International Congress of White Architecture (CIAB11) at the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain.
Its identity is grounded in the understanding of diverse contexts—landscape, social, and economic. The studio’s work is supported by over fifteen years of experience and research, consolidating a comprehensive approach that bridges design practice, teaching, and experience in public territorial management.
