Founded in 2007 in Cariló, the studio designs and builds at diverse scales, ranging from the detail of a single housing module to the scale of urban intervention. It is in single-family housing —”the house”— where most of its production is concentrated, establishing it as a space of constant design and constructive exploration.
Its work focuses on interpreting the natural landscape, regulations, and the analysis of the social, economic, and cultural context in order to adopt the construction system and the most efficient materials that respond to each project, addressing the diverse programs of needs and uses. In its projects, the studio has specialized in the tectonics of reinforced concrete, without setting aside other materials that are always noble and low-maintenance.
Testing and experimentation in the Studio’s works are far removed from the pursuit of originality; the thinking and subsequent development focus on providing the most appropriate response to “inhabiting” a given space and context, offering experiences related to the playful, where the register of sensations expands as phenomenology comes into play.
Its identity is based on an understanding of diverse contexts (landscape, social, economic); its work is backed by years of experience and research, consolidating a comprehensive perspective that bridges design practice, teaching, and experience in public territorial management.

The team
Architect, graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (2003). His professional pursuit bridges technical rigor with material experimentation—a foundation he deepened through the Architecture and Technology Program at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2011) and the Specialization in Urban Architectural Design (UNMdP). He has enriched his perspective by participating in various workshops, seminars, and academic events.
In 2007, he founded Estudio Galera. Between March 2020 and December 2022, he served as Secretary of Planning for the Municipality of Pinamar. He is also an active lecturer and speaker at biennials and academic forums.

Architect, graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata in 2017. Member of Estudio Galera since 2012, alongside his teaching work at Instituto Juan Luis Vives in Villa Gesell. He participated as a teaching assistant for the course "Parametric Modeling" in the Architecture program at Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata.
Architect, graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata in 2004. Member of Estudio Galera since 2015. In academia, he serves as Associate Professor at FAUD / UNMdP. He is currently completing a specialization in Comprehensive Architectural and Urban Project Management (2016/2018 cohort, UNMdP). He is a doctoral candidate at DARQ-FAUD UNMdP, with a research thesis project titled "Architecture and Audiovisual Culture: Urban Narratives in Music Videos."
